Not one to shy from a challenge, when Fever London asked me to style a dress for work, rest and play, I thought to myself – that’s not a challenge, that’s just common sense. I don’t know about you but when I shop I justify a purchase by the different scenarios it’s suitable for. I’ll wear this to work AND for lunch on Sunday AND to that event next week AND I might just sleep in it. Honest husband, I’m going to wear it ALL THE TIME. DoG forbid coming home with something that only works with one other piece in the closet or, even worse, nothing. Work dresses get sad when they only see the office. They want to play on the weekends and get out with the girls at night too.
Honestly the print was a little more colourful than I had anticipated but I speak no lie when I say that each one of the girls at the day job, and there were 6 that day, told me how great I was looking. Thanks girls, maybe I could consider ditching the jeans now and again…
So here’s how it went down : belted and casual for day with flats, layered with the staple white shirt and heels for work and tucked up for a cheeky bit of leg for night (love how you can do that with jersey). That’s how I’m #WearingFever. You got Fever too? Snap a quick pic and enter their comp here.
Bon weekend! We’re off to a wedding and, as a lover of love, I can’t wait!x

I’m always a sucker for layering and I think with a more fitted dress you feel the extra confidence with the extra layer!
Well you’ve certainly justified this little dress. Super-dooper styling Wendy x
Thanks so much – always a good challenge to style one piece different ways š
If that last one doesn’t justify the dress for the husband…. hotness. Love it!!
ha ashlee – you made me laugh!

I really love that print, though I definitely could not wear it to work lol
I guess it all depends where you work – I am lucky…
Wow!!! Lookin’ good!!! Love the print on you! Happy weekend x
thanks gaylesbury – you too.x
Love that print and dress. Love the longer version. A real winner, for sure!
The print is not something I would usually go for but I must admit I like it in the shots – maybe I need to be more adventurous more often…
p.s. Happy Weekend, and hugs to Mr. K. !!
Nailed it lady! Space is very valuable in my house, so everything has to have great utility, none of these 1 time wear pieces make it past my tough selection process!
