New lashes for Christmas

Hey hey Monday… Hope you all had a great weekend?

Last week I had the chance to visit Merili at Eden Beauty Garden to try out her eyelash extensions – I’ve been after these bad boys for a while so I couldn’t get myself booked in fast enough!  Well I have to tell you it’s been 5 days now and I love these new bambi eyes of mine.  They took some time to apply as they’re individual lashes, each attached to one of my own, but I lay back and just took some time out to relax… and fall asleep (sorry Merili!).  They completely eliminate the need for mascara or anything at all really which is a huge win.  Maybe I’ll amp it up a little with some shadow or liner for a Christmas party but for an everyday look like this, they’re good to go just the way they are.

How will I ever live without them?  Good news is I should be golden for another few weeks if I take good care of them.  If you fancy your own bambi eyes I can’t recommend Merili enough – gorgeous city centre salon (just next to Glasgow’s central station) and 20% off this month.  If I didn’t mention it already – I LOVE mine.

What to say about the look?  Keeping warm with the leather legs and lots of layers (there might even be a thermal under there too…).  Avoiding the bulk with cuffed sleeves and a bit of a ‘half in half out’ tuck for a touch of detail.  Easy.  And when it’s this cold, all we care about, warm!
