Hello spring? Is that you friend? Perhaps the bare legs are a little ambitious, in Scotland at least, but I couldn’t wait to get these new lace up flats on my toes – they bear a resemblance to a certain coveted high end designer pair wouldn’t you say? For sure my new season loves. (You know me and shoes, I have a lot of loves…).
Must confess, ever since Burberry cemented that 70’s hippie vibe with suede and tassels and fringing and big sleeves and lacing, I’ve noticed myself leaning in that direction. Something about the loose, floaty pieces that herald summer, or in this case spring – fashion is prone to getting ahead of itself. In keeping with the relaxed vibe I am, as ever, avoiding the iron at all costs.
After a few hours in the New York sun and a few more in the Toronto cold this week (hopefully a couple of photos to follow) my body is well and truly seasonally confused. But my mind is in spring – next on the hit list, this fringed beauty – after all, bags span all seasons.
Happy weekend everyone – I’m flying home to my boys!x

Love this look, your jacket is gorgeous! I’m totally feeling the 70’s trend too, the flares are out! I can’t believe you risked bare legs in Scotland, girl you sure are hardy haha

You are brave sporting bare legs, I went for a jumper rather than jacket the other day and was freezing! Very cute top and shoes though can see why you couldn’t wait to get them on
This outfit is so nice! Especially I love the shoes! Great for spring….
