Wanderlust wardrobe

Hello sunshine…  A little wanderlust wardrobe today because when you travel based on the BBC weather app forecast in search of sun, and you find that last minute warm spot, you need your outfit sorted asap.  Fear not, this Missguided suit is ‘the one’.

So I picked out a few key pieces for trotting off to the beach at the last minute and had them all delivered the next day with CollectPlus.  Yas.  I’m so happy to share this post because this is a service I use almost every week.  For reals.  Not heard of CollectPlus?  Well you, my friend, are missing a trick.  Basically, instead of having to be home to receive deliveries, these guys drop off at your nearest Click and Collect spot – now I’m pretty lucky that the local shop, literally on the block where I live, is one of these spots but with 6000 locations across the UK, including convenience stores, petrol stations, shopping centres and supermarkets, all open early till late, chances are there’s gonna be one near you too.

Surprise!  It’s an off the shoulder top.  But wait there are huge balloon sleeves too… basically the best combo ever.  Amen.  This beauty is from Asos, along with the Ray Bans because they’re just such a summer classic and these guys were half price in the sale.  Packing everything in this cute beach bag from Mango and the River Island espadrilles on my feet – seems I have a thing for espadrilles at the moment…  And I ordered online and picked them all up, on the evening dog walk, yep you guessed it, from my local Click and Collect.  Win.

Now back to this suit… yep, it’s basically da bomb.  Did I just write that?  How old am I?  But really it is.  First off, white suits can be tricky but this Missguided one is kinda knitted and thick and just feels amazing on.  It cinches and smoothes and has cutouts in all the right places.  It’s an absolute winner…  I ordered options of course (because with swimwear you just never know…) but wound up keeping this one too cause it was just too cute (see it on here).  This one however, although adorable, turned out to be a thong, really, a thong.  I just couldn’t do it so back it went, with CollectPlus – just dropped it off at the local spot, got a receipt and that’s it, Scotland’s beaches are safe from my white ass thank you very much.  My giant watermelon towel is another story, if ever there was a keeper, this it – am I right?
