Just imagine this chateau perched high on an ancient volcanic hill overlooking rolling hills loaded with grapevines. Imagine tasting the most incredible rainbow salad of local tomatoes, washed down with a glass of Château la Sauvageonne red. Imagine floating through the villa and out to the pool and dipping a toe into that water just taking in that view…
Welcome to my bliss.
Do you guys have those talks where you find yourself promising you’re going to retire to a chateau in the South of France (or somewhere equally romantic) and fly back and forth on those Air France flights to Montpellier? If not, there are two possible scenarios – a) You’ve never considered retiring as you’re simply not as old as I am, or, b) You’ve never been here. Now, this isn’t a hotel, in fact you have to rent the whole place from Gerard Bertrand himself but let me tell you – Gerard and I are about to become very good friends…
They say if Château la Sauvageonne was a person she would be an adventurer, independent and free like Indiana Jones. Love that.
