Just five things making me happy right now…
All the flowers. Can you believe we stumbled across these incredible, giant rhododendrons? Nope, me neither. Definitely did not creep round the village streets real slow in my car until I found the perfect spot. That was not me. I am way more casual and cool than that.
Gingham. My two very favourite search terms when online shopping are ‘stripes’ and ‘gingham’ and Boden have knocked it out the park with these absolute beauties. For just under £100 the quality is incredible, those little checks make my heart sing and that embellishment is next level. I paired them with more gingham, naturally. And the baby may or may not happened to have been wearing these that day too…
You guys. All your comments and DM’s and emails on my last post really make me so happy. It was not only a huge decision, it was a huge post and it took me a long (inordinately long) time to get the words just right but it seems so many of you can sympathise or are going through something similar and the fact that you took time out of your day to talk to me about it is truly lovely.
My sore body. I started training locally with Colin (he shares workouts online too) and once a week my body wakes up aching. And it feels goooood. I workout out at home a fair bit but now it would seem I have muscles I did not know existed. He really pushes me and I love that feeling of growing stronger. The fact that I’ll be in a bikini this time next weekend is not terrible timing…
The sunshine. The glorious warm sunshine. Scotland I do not know what we have done to deserve this but I sit in that sun for lunch every day, I play in the shady spots with my baba, I walk the dogs in that early evening sun and it feels like a giant, warming hug.

Those flats are so cute and my favourite part of your outfit! 🙂 I really like the gingham on gingham too. I should try adding some gingham print to my wardrobe, I do have plenty of stripes!
