Last week at work was all about styling and shooting the new collections.  Being that I have a decent camera it fell to me to take the shots – hello pressure!

The cats who we call Petty, Peggy and Betty, were being fame whores and wanted in just about every shot and the light waned around 3.30 so it wasn’t without it’s challenges but the end results are something we’re all pretty proud of.  I’ll share some of them when they’re finished their photoshop beauty treatment!  I’ve erased out so many plug sockets and wayward chair legs that there was no way I was doing anything about the one above!

Casual look of course for shooting; torn up old comfy jeans from Gap in my all time favourite style which appears to have been discontinued (fear not I have, I believe, 3 pairs).  They began the day with one torn knee and finished with two.  A sign of hard graft, or playing with kitties…

With about 20 mminutes to get ready for a birthday party after the shoot I wound up transforming them for an evening look which I’ll show you on Friday, stay tuned.

I’ve noticed that you don’t tend to do much of the ‘skinny jean’ look, particularly tucked into boots, is that a personal style choice or has the trend changed?

I don’t know about the trend changing, I still see a LOT of girls wearing that look and I do wear it too sometimes but I like to change it up more now. You’ve made me think though – perhaps I’ll answer more in depth in Friday’s post! Thanks.x

Love this sort of casual look. The plates and crockery are great too!
