Apologies for the truly fugly background to the majority of these shots – blame the photographer, ha!  We were in such a rush to get out for a cocktail session with the sis and bro in-law that we seemed to entirely overlook the grotesque buildings behind us.  Meanwhile we were caught up with looking at the pretty river right over the railing, which you can see NOT AT ALL.

Do you have any items of clothing in your wardrobe that you own in multiples?  I don’t mean vests and socks.  For me it’s this skirt.  I have it in 2 other colour variations but the exact same style.  It’s a bit odd in truth as it’s no doubt not the most flattering skirt to wear being a tulip shape but it’s so easy to dress up and down that I keep coming back to it.  And it’s got pockets and anything with pockets is a win in my fashion book!  Funnily enough I also have the t-shirt in 3 different colours – what can I say, it has pockets too!

I switched up the sandals for ankle boots and added, you guessed it, the denim shirt for evening.

Love this outfit. Great skirt. I also have a couple of things I own multiples of – and the reason I have them now is because over the years I have had many things I *wished* I had bought many of. It all started with a black batwing jersey top – what can I tell you, it was the 80s 🙂

So true – wearing something to death and not being able to replace it is very sad!
