Sometimes it’s the details that count.  It’s just a pair of cargos (yeah, I kept them, no apologies) and a stripe tee but when you see those zips snaking away round your calf, you’ve got something.  The jacket’s asymmetric too, belt to the side, statement necklace, backward scarf, kooky bracelets – done!  The husband gave the bracelets to me at Christmas after seeing them on my Pinterest and I love them – what do you think?  Cute or mega nerd?

In other news Christmas is officially over; the decorations are down and the tree has gone to the big wood-chipper in the sky.  Struggling to get it out the door (and I don’t mean a bit of a struggle – door’s like 1m wide, tree at least 2m) the husband says, ‘Wow, how did we get it in so easy?’.  I say, ‘Erm, you weren’t here, that’s why it was easy.  FOR YOU.’

P.S.  I still really want a pair of glasses and this would’ve been the perfect look for them too…  but the husband has threatened to disown me if I get glasses when I don’t genuinely need them!
