After Monday’s post I felt a little guilty. Everything, and I mean everything, I had on was brand new. So I set myself a little challenge to construct a look for today that was mostly, well, old. Let’s talk through it – the jacket is not only the husband’s, he’s had it for a few years, the top is from 2009, the pants I bought last year but I consider them old because I’ve worn them so darn much. And the shoes are the real OAP’s here; they’ve been re-heeled not once but twice – I think in fact I got them around 2002. Remember when the millenium sounded so modern?! Over a decade ago people!
It never hurts to rake around in your closet and see what you can find – clever styling can still give you a modern look. (Beware of shell-suits though, they’re still not cool).
