When in a tiny village with intermittent internet but plentiful scones and roaring fires I take that as a sign to catch up on neglected magazines and time with my boys (and eat scones). I think I miss it already…
I love the first image! Great shot. Hope you are having an amazing time.
It was wonderful, thanks Lou!

I did the same a couple of days ago, when there was nothing on TV.Reading time with my husband in the sofa at night, I found that romantic!

Ahh, that is totally me when I’m at my home in France. I have no phones or internet there; it is my place to just change pace and totally bliss out. Also, catch up on m reading!
oh my, the only thing that could make this better would be if it were in France – one of my favourite places in the whole world
Sounds like a lovely way to spend the time, and a nice break from being online! 🙂
it was it was – sometimes it’s needed!
Awww, it’s a lovley wee getaway place! x
wish we could go every weekend!
Sounds perfect and fantastic! It is such a relief to unplug from tech and live in the real world.
It’s never my choice to be unplugged but yes, it was a relief actually and I did truly unwind 🙂
