What is it about wedge sneakers? I remember the first time I saw them I wasn’t so keen… mere months later and I’m their greatest advocate. Comfy like trainers but they still give a little height and have become completely accepted, uniform even, in the fashion world (I know they were my saviour during LFW).
So now this red pair – I’ve never seen a red I could class as neon until now. And I love it. With the Marants commanding £££ if you can even get a pair, for 50 bucks and real suede this Zalando pair are a steal.
Just FYI, I also remember thinking skinny jeans would never catch on. Sometimes, for a blogger, I’m a little slow on the uptake.

Away From The Blue
Mica, make no mistake, it’s beautiful when it snows in December & January, when it snows at the end of March is just RUDE!
I’m not a big fan of most of the wedge sneakers – they really do scream ‘fashion victim’ to me, but that’s just ’cause I’m old, I guess lol. However… I love these red ones! Are you *sure* they are comfy?
I promise, I really do. The heel height is only 2 inches max and I stick a sheepskin insole in there too for extra sponginess – I can genuinely do an hour long dog walk no probs
Love those wedge sneakers – they look great on you. I like how the colour really ‘pops’. I have some similar in a sandy beige colour, suede, how would you style these? I’m thinking what colours so they don’t look too ‘washed out’? Now got my eye on these in black…… not sure if I’m brave enough for the red 😉 (they are fab though!!) Btw your blog is not good for my bank balance, so much inspiration taken from it!!
Ha, this blog is not good for my bank balance either! For your beige sneakers I’d be wearing them with black, navy or red but they’re gonna look great in the summer with bare legs – if summer ever comes…
Bleedin Nora…those are wonderful. I actually like very few models of the wedge sneakers, but your ones I like. 😀
changing wedge sneakers’ reputation one post at a time…
Love your pictures! Cute hot red sneakers!

Looking gorgeous again. Love the wedge sneakers. I’ve just got a beige pair to go with a black pair I already have. They’re great for dog walking.
I have to agree with Louisa though, your blog is bad for my bank balance
ha! sorry girls… I think I’d really like a beige pair next – good for leg lengthening when with shorts and (shudder to even think about it right now) bare legs
love your shoes.great scarf xxx
thanks eva
I hated them to start with but really want a pair now. I’ve found some beige ones with red and blue details, roll on payday!

The last pic is so fab! You can totally see how the shoes just ‘pop’ – layering like a ninja! As necessary in Glasgow as down here eh?!
Fab hat use too!

‘layering like a ninja’ – love that!
I used to don’t like wedges sneakers, but since I had mine I addicted to it for everyday use. Great look, loving the hat.
