Well a Scottish heatwave is certainly rare but also very, very welcome. We’ve been stocking up on watermelon and fresh flowers and I fan Mr K daily with palm fronds…
And I finally got my mitts on this Nars shade which I been after for ages and is aptly named Heatwave. I’m super picky about my lipstick and gave it a test run before buying – the colour stayed put whilst not zapping moisture. Sold. Expect to see it soon!

Gorgeous shade. I’m a bit more indiscriminate in my lipstick buying. Basically if it’s a lipstick, lip liner or lipgloss…I just buy. I’m awful like that.

Just out of curiosity I checked the weather in Scotland… and it is the same temperature as it was here today! It was kind of abnormally warm here today though… So happy to hear that you are having nice weather!

Why is it so difficult to find such luscious shades as this one? Thanks for the alert! Also, take a cool damp washcloth and dampen (often) Mr. K’s head, so he will feel cool in the unusually hot weather. That’s what I do to my cat on unusually hot days, which are far and few in between.
