You know I’m a denim kid at heart! Thanks so much to Daniel of Stockholm Streetstyle for capturing this wonderful shot of me on day 5 of LFW – tired and after a night at The Box with my lovely Nancy it is a true testament to his photo skills. Such an absolute pleasure and kinda unbelievable to be featured with them again. (Here was the last time).

At Somerset House I stumbled upon a live performance from the balcony which was a little surreal but so beautiful. It’s almost like they knew we needed a little pick me up to help us start day 5 with smiles on our faces.
Tata Naka was first order of the day and it probably won’t surprise you that this skirt stole the show for me. Bright coral with a super high split and maxi scallop detail – really quite perfect. Presentations (versus catwalk) can often be a little odd and remind me of my years at art school where I did my best to dodge the environmental art dept. mostly as I had zero understanding of what went on over there… For me the dark and sombre mood of the presentation was a little at odds with the fluoro brights and lacework. In saying that, the pieces shone out and there were some stunners.
Emilio de la Morena rounded off LFW for me and it was a welcome calm. Muted tones like stormy clouds with only a tiny smattering of print towards the end. More split skirts which I loved and many incredible trenches, short and long, in varying colours and textures; statement pieces but absolutely wearable. So many coats for SS14 could seem strange but, for the UK, likely spot on.
