#LFW – Burberry & the reds

I like red.

This was day 4 of LFW, aka Monday, and I had this look in my head for a while prior – I found the top in Zara and the pants on mega sale in Reiss (they’re sold out now although I am about to return 2 pairs, long story, so maybe those will pop up shortly).  The bag was a no brainer.

I did see a lot of red around London so maybe that’s a thing, you know, a trend or something?  Plaid definitely is, as is sheer, so the top seemed a good bet – if you’re going for pieces that only last one season then you might as well tick as many boxes as possible right?!

Much as I would love to tell you that I went to the Burberry show… alas, I did not.  Not exactly.  The husband and I headed over to people watch as the show was in the beautiful Kensington Gardens, just minutes from our hotel, and the sun popped out and the atmosphere was amazing and we could see the petals fall from the roof in the finale and we could hear the incredible Benjamin Twine which at the time we thought was live but now of course know was not.  One day, maybe one day, I’ll be on the other side…
