Can we talk about the feet at Antipodium AW14? I’ve long been a fan of socks and sandals done right (I know some of you will be saying there is no right way but, trust me now, there is) but these hairy porcupine toes take things to a new level. Are they practical? Nope. Do they float beautifully in an indoor breeze? Why yes, yes they do. Do I need them in my life? Again, that’s a yes from me.
I enjoyed the downplayed cheerleader schoolgirl vibe going on and in particular the teddy bear pieces – in fact they were verging on fleece… can fleece be cool? Well I’m going to say yes again. (Let’s remember what we all used to think about baseball caps and socks and sandals – you with me on this yet?).
I do love a presentation – never the atmosphere of a runway show but perfectly lit, stationary models are something, as an amateur photographer, that I personally breathe a comforted sigh of relief at. Oh yeah, and the models ate grapes so that was fun too.
But really it was all about those toes…
Loving the close up details of this collection, the hair is amazing!
