Sunday was just one of those days. There was a blue hole in the cloud right over Loch Lomond as if someone had just breathed a big sigh of happy weekend relief from the bonnie banks right up to the sky.
We tried out the segway safari – my dad will want me to note that I fell off whilst he, now almost in his tortoise years, did not. Back on board though they were fun; kinda like the laziest run you’ve ever been on. Sorry there aren’t any photos – after the falling off situation I wasn’t about to start taking selfies… Meanwhile Mr K chased skimming stones and barked that really high pitched yap that dogs save for when they’re really excited.
Alfresco lunch on the terrace at The Boathouse was really the perfect finish to the day (amazing starters and a view that makes you add Owning a Boat to your bucket list).
Photo overload coming up – just one of those days where I feel like if I share mountains of shots (Instagram and all) you might just feel like you were there too. And we could all use a little Scottish loch escapism on a Wednesday.x
camo mac – Next (love this one too)
denim tee – Miss Selfridge :: leather legging – Hallhuber @ House of Fraser
glasses – Asos :: bracelet – Dower & Hall

The camo is amazing! Love that it has that army print but in blue and not in khaki, makes a great difference! I am definitely buying it 🙂
P.S: This place looks fantastic <3
Unfortunately we do need to find stylish macs for the Scottish weather!
Fab day! Did Mr K get to follow you on the segways?
He possibly could have but no, we took shifts!x
I’m totally in love with your dog!
Me too 😉
Your striped coat is so nice 🙂
And that sounds like a lovely way to spend a Sunday too! 🙂
Away From Blue

sounds like it was a lovely day!! MrK looks super happy indeed!
I think he is at his happiest when he can play by the water!
Love the mac! Saw it on line and was tempted…. 🙂 Beautiful photos as always x
Really recommend it – totally waterproof too – tried and tested in the Scottish rain…
Loch Fyne is one of our favs to visit down at Granton on sunny summer evenings – Delicious (best chips & oysters) and always wonderful, wonderful views!
Definitely great views – love it there too!
Lovely pics and Mr K is so happy! 🙂
Funny how he looks so full of life and joy in these shots – put him on a lead on the street and it’s another story!
Well written! Loving your style, your dog, your cuisine… Looking forward to more! (:
