You can’t really visit Kuala Lumpur and miss the Petronas Twin Towers – by that I mean not only that you don’t want to miss them, but also that you literally cannot miss them – these bad boys tower over the entire city day and night and they are beauties. Just look at them sparkling…
We took a trip to the top on one of our more formal days of the trip so I know I’m not exactly in typical tourist attire – this is my formalwear for when the air outside is so hot you fear you might melt (in fact, most of the time, I was so sweaty I quite literally did appear to be melting). The skirt was part of my last minute Asos holiday shop and dash (there always is one of those) and I’m really in love with it; kinda like a summer update of the cream version I already have, I love the sunshine colour and the light linen, yeah it creases but nothing some GHD’s can’t sort out. And for just over 20 quid it’s hard to say no – get it here. (What? Oh don’t pretend you don’t iron clothes with your GHD’s. Please.)
When I went to Barcelona with my cousin she was wearing these shoes and singing their comfortable praises so I took the plunge knowing they’d be perfect for the smarter occasions during our trip. For leather upper, lined and soled shoes they’re an extremely good price (and, heads up, if you sign up for their newsletter you immediately receive a nice discount code). I plumped for the leg lengthening nude patent but of course have my eye on the striped ones now too.
But back to those towers… boy are they a long way up… or down depending how you look at it. It’s really like looking down at a model city, so high you can’t even see the people and yet there are birds up there, level, just swooping and diving right by the glass without a care in the world. Nutters. I loved it.

Looking lovely as always! I have my eye on the silver and navy slingbacks 🙂
I love that skirt in yellow, really summery. Yellows not really my colour though
I addore your skirt dear
Being in the middle of winter where I live, it’s very refreshing to see a spot of colour, especially the Yellow, nice outfit! Lovely photographs of my favourite city!
That is a beautiful yellow skirt! sadly I just can’t get along with linen – despite how great it is on hot humid days, I hate the instant wrinkles that accompany it, haha.
Gorgeous photos, what a view! 🙂
