A night of shopping and eating and shopping and cocktails and even more shopping and all on my fav street in all of London? I’m there with bells on (well kinda more like embellished sequins but you get the idea – I was game).
Last week saw Vogue’s Fashion Night Out descend upon London and I got together with a few of my favs to hit Regent Street for a few hours of fashion’s toughest chore – shopping with special FNO discounts. We kicked off the night with a blow dry in Akasha, Cafe Royal Hotel by Neville Hair while sipping on a ‘New Fashioned’ cocktail (yep, that be a giant floating frozen mushroom in there). Mine lasted overnight and through a long haul flight, the do not the shroom, which I consider a major win in the hair world. Following with a trio of cocktails and desserts in Hawksmoor you probably start to get an idea of how the night was heading…
Highlights of the night for me were this gorgeous cape coat at Karen Millen, beautiful leather fringing at Superdry, the colour rainbow at Kiko (totally new to London and such an amazing beauty find), getting up close and personal with those hand painted Burberry boots, my name in beautiful calligraphy by the uber talented Pascribe, furriness in Anthropologie and kissing Karl (he wasn’t really feeling it).
All topped off with cocktails (yep) and nibbles at Brasserie Zedel’s Bar Americain. Good times! Special thanks to Cafe Royal Hotel for hosting me for the night, that giant marble tub was an absolute treat!
Have you guys ever been to a Fashion Night Out? Which city would you go to? (Clue : London).x
sweatshirt – H&M Trend
skirt – M&S (similar) :: heel – Reiss
clutch – Kurt Geiger :: glasses – Ray Ban
watch – Daniel Wellington
And if you are heading to London then don’t forget to dowload the new Regent Street app (basically like Tinder for shopping – hooking you up with your best fashion, wining and dining matches and giving some great offers along the way)!
I LOVE this outfit – I have just bought the tan leather Mango skirt and adore it – the H&M top looks fabulous with it. Superb.
Sounds like so much fun! 🙂
I did FNO by chance in Sydney one year – I was meeting a friend from overseas in the city that week and we caught the tail end of FNO on our way home. It was lots of fun! 🙂
Looks like you had a great time…and blowing a kiss to Mr Lagerfeld (that is him right?!) x
