Last weekend the MTV EMA came to Glasgow… what?! I gotta say, she’s really upped her game our beautiful Glasgow – we’re getting all the good stuff!
We were lucky enough to be invited along by the Someone Like Me team and, you might already know from my post last week, I was having some issues finding the right culottes. (For it had to be culottes – the perfectly dressy alternative for non-skirt lovers). Turns out the answer came in the shape of these structured satin Topshop beauties – I ordered the navy too but in the end that nudey pink was all too ladylike and won me over. I’d been waiting for an excuse to order the Asos alpaca knit – not just because I love alpacas but also because, you know, it’s grey and knitwear so I need it.
Popped into Finnieston’s new Blow bar for a lady up do because there ain’t no way I can do that myself and I think it finished the look perfectly. Paired with a sunset over Glasgow’s iconic Armadillo and The Hydro, where the awards were held, and here we have the result!
And if you’re wondering what the awards were like… well, I shared my first ever vlog on my Youtube channel so go check it out – it gives a little snapshot into what was the most incredible night! Good job Glasgow. Happy weekend.x
