Remember when leather was kinda nasty? Leather skirts only came in two shapes – short and tight. And leather pants were usually shiny, maybe with buckles, probably with zips. Times have a-changed. Hooray.
They might not be man friendly but I’m loving these leather culottes. They’re butter soft, they’re loose, they’re long. (And they’re warm but that’s just a bonus on top of their fashion credentials – though a welcome bonus at this time of year all the same). So they joined me, and the husband, for date night with other leather legged friends and a big balloon sleeved knit. The new sexy maybe?

Agreed Lauren – I feel like I want everything especially in this cold weather!
Love the whole look, but especially the boots!
A sale score from last year that I will never regret 😉
You are so right, some leather in the past was definitely a bit dodgy!
These culottes work, and culottes can be a strange one, can’t they?
Love the boots, they are gorgeous!!
Kx
They can indeed – heels are key I think otherwise they can cut your leg at an awkward point and not be terrible flattering. But the right cut and a good heel and they’re one of my favourite shapes right now.
HOW do you wear boots and shorts and make them work? i’m so enormously jealous, i cannot do the over sides thing and you’ve smashed it, x
Thanks Natalie 🙂 Just layer them up 😉
You look amazing in these leather pants! Thank good for the leather transformation … I wouldn’t know what to do without my leather pants 🙂

Me neither!
that jumper looks SO cosy, especially in the freezing climate!
where did you go on date night?
Well… we tried to go to Ox & Finch (one of my favs) and then Porter & Rye (yet to try) but both were full and we wound up in The Finnieston which I also love – plus it means MrK can join us for date night 😉
