Ventured North and Scotland rewarded us with a beauty. Those white, white sands and green, green hills… a 4 hour drive but worth every minute on the road (which, by the way, wasn’t exactly tough with the views through Glencoe and Rannoch Moor). Seems the beaches on the North West are handpicked from Pinterest – in plentiful supply and beautifully empty. Portnadoran is ever changing as the tide ebbs and flows through the rocks, taking my breath away with it.
