I did some research and turns out Scotland has some of the best looking beaches in the world. No lie. Camusdarach isn’t exactly in easy striking distance from Glasgow but she was the object of my affections and the 4 hour drive brought us here. Walking through sand dunes and grasses and you just turn a corner to see these white sands stretching out into turquoise waters. You have to walk to her and there’s no bathroom or ice cream stall and somehow that makes her even more special. The sun was shining and still we were only a handful of people on this slice of west coast heaven. The Scottish beach tour continues but she’s a hard one to beat…
So I did what any fashion blogger would and played dress up. Just because I could. Why not? I donned my prettiest dress with the loveliest crochet details (on sale at Asos right now) and added my hat of the moment (from the Reiss sale). Of course it’s not what I’d choose to wear for a 4 hour car journey and a picnic on the beach with the dogs, but it makes a pretty picture (thanks Nancy!) and sometimes that’s all I really want. To live out my beach princess dreams.
