The Gant Rugger story continues…
A little dressier, still playing with texture and those rich colours of autumn, I found myself taking the story to the west end, to the place where those barrels and their years of history have an end point – bottled, poured and enjoyed.
I could live in this suede coat – softer than you can even imagine and that perfect, rich tan tone… if it had to be me and just one coat forever, she would be my soul mate. For real. Vive la suede coat indeed. I layered her with the crue knit dress because sometimes simple is best and it’s just so easy. Fitted just so, such a great piece for throwing on – not too many brain cells required – it just looks good. Minimum effort, maximum results and I’m all about that.
So my story reaches its final chapter and I am happy. The challenge of sharing these inspirations for the collection, the colours of the Sonoma vineyards, gave me the chance to let my creative child run free choosing locations (here and also 4 hours to the North of Scotland, she really did run) and compositions and I love that the blog gives me the opportunity to do that, really explore you know? Thanks for coming along with me.x
