Revisiting all the corners of my closet and anything ‘swing’ in the online shopping search… And remembering this beauty by Free People, last worn as a dress in Barbados, and her voluminous virtues.
And if you’ve ever had a baby bump to deal with you probably know the joys of trying to find jeans that work. Over the bump or under the bump, either way, it’s basically a very slippery uphill slope – nothing stays up. Enter Séraphine. So there might still be the occasional wriggle as I hoik (that sure is a Scottish word isn’t it?) them back up to original position but they fit real good and they look amazing – fitted, suitably distressed, raw hems and that gorgeous flat inside seam that I forget the proper name of but someone once told me was a sign of a good pair of jeans and I’ve paid it a lot of attention ever since. Denim days are back. Amen.

P.S. Apologies for the muddy paw print on my right thigh… I could of course have photoshopped it out but hey, that’s my life… occasionally the black dog likes to use me as a springboard to propel himself with extra gusto towards something menacing, like a squirrel. True story.
I had a giggle at the muddy pawprint story, soon you’ll have a baby and a the dogs leaving their marks all over your outfits! 🙂
Love this swing tunic, such a nice piece. I’ve seen a lot of similar inspired pieces around on blogs and I’ve always wanted one, it would have been perfect to get for my last pregnancy! DOn’t know why I never did?!
Hope you are having a really good week so far.
