Bigger really is better. No. 3 in my high street denim edit comes in the form of these Free People flares – I mean if you’re gonna do flares you might as well really do flares you know?
I actually wound up with these in a size 26 which I honestly did not think would be even close to fitting me but, you know what, they were perfect. They sit super duper high on the waist so I guess depending on your shape, you can size according to waist (I am usually a small 8 in the waist but more of a 10 in the hip if that helps). The denim is beautifully soft and I love the raw hem and split knee. Now I know this may seem like a small detail but what really sets these particular flares apart for me is the seam detail to the back of the knee – this does everything for the cut and fit of the mega flare. Nailed it. And I’m crushing on the ecru now for summer too…
P.S. All outfit details are now linked at the bottom of my posts so just scroll on down for links.

Flared jeans are the best! They look very individual and sophisticated. I personally like them for versatility, as you can make them look vintage or keep things modern and classy. I made an article, about different flared jeans and simple outfit ideas you can create with these bottoms, have a look: http://onlywardrobe.com/womens-fashion/flared-jeans-for-women-who-like-vintage-style/ Hope you can find here some nice ideas.
