Proud to partner

Today I read Alex’s post about money and a couple of things really struck me…  First of all, the incentive to actually click through and read a blog post now is so different for me than, say, five years ago; with the addition of social media and the ability to scroll and digest thousands of images in a single day I am looking for something more – I crave information and a personal viewpoint and those are the things that make me stop.  Secondly, if a brand wants to partner with me and I am truly excited about it then I bloody well want to shout it from the rooftops.  I am proud of this space I have grown and that it pays my bills (don’t get me wrong, I still create plenty of unpaid content just because I love what I do) and if I have the opportunity to work with a brand that I think is really brilliant then that is definitely worth celebrating.

With that in mind, today I am stoked to introduce the first post of my 2019 ambassadorship with Fitflop*.  This is a brand I genuinely love and, yes, you will see me wearing a lot of their pieces – some will be part of our agreement (and marked as such) and some will be simply because this is a brand I adore.  The ergonomic soles, aka really superior comfort, make this footwear my go-to choice for, well, life.  I wear the knitted sneakers* every day for workouts and dog walks and rotate between sandals, boots and these Rally sneakers* for other occasions.  In fact, this is the exact outfit (ok, ok, I had a more practical size of bag) I wore for a day of meetings in London a couple weeks back.  I mean if I am gonna fly up and down in one day and navigate the streets of a big city I darn well want to be certain my feet are happy – and in these, I know they are.  So thank you Fitflop* for supporting Thankfifi for another year and I could truly not be more proud to say we work together – by now I have most of my family members, including the husband, hooked as well as friends and honestly anyone who will listen and if that is not testimony to how I feel about this brand then I don’t know what is…
