All hail the best time of year; those crunchy golden leaves, that crisp autumn air, when the trees look like their hair is on fire and hot chocolate is on repeat… and then it rains. But not just a little bit of rain with a couple of cute, splashy puddles, Scottish rain comes in strong and delivers puddles you could actually lose a toddler in.

So I am welcoming FitFlop’s new WonderWelly* with open arms. The team have truly spent years developing a welly that not only delivers in the traditional sense by keeping our feet dry in the face of everything the season has to throw at us but one that also has comfort and science in its very sole with springboards to propel you forward (hey, we can all use a little extra help some days right?), a contoured insole and, my favourite feature, a flexible sole. In a nutshell, you could basically wear these all day long and your feet would still be smiling. They come in this long length as well as a shorter ankle length and a range of six colours – I have the pale grey* but the short red style* have kinda caught my eye too…
