You are cordially invited to join me and my most magical dress at the Ted Baker Buchanan Street, Glasgow store on Thur 17th for an evening of chats, bubbles and discounts (hello 30% off full price pieces)… I am hesitant to call it a ‘meet up’ because I feel a little small fry for that but let’s just say I will be there and I do love a chat so, if you too are there, we can meet up, ha, ok it is a meet up. But we will also be talking through my favs from the new season collection and I will be diving in the deep end with a Q&A too where you can fire your fashion questions, or any questions really, at me. So excited to meet some of you there!
I picked out a couple of looks ahead of the big night and truly, I was only obliged to share one but I loved them both so much that I decided to get crazy and shoot them both… in one lunch break (the husband’s)… in Glasgow’s most torrential October rain… And if you watch my Instagram stories you probably know that my day started out covered in baby puke so I’m pretty chuffed that, sandwiched in between a health visitor appointment and a Doctor appointment, we managed to get these shots because I really REALLY wanted to do this magical dress* justice.
Scroll down for the second look…

Slightly more low key down here… but I love it just as much (and perhaps have more occasion to wear it). Not a word of a lie when I tell you that I have been living in this cardigan and that these leggings are the most flattering pair I own – I am not exactly sure what it is that makes them so wonderful but it almost certainly has something to do with the industrial strength, wide elastic, super high waistband – it sucks you in and smoothes you out with special powers.
So now the question is which look to wear to the event next week? Please tell me it’s ok to wear the dress because, honestly, I do not have many occasions in my calendar right now that demand a dress quite like this and I really want the excuse to wear it again…
