Black Friday on my feet – the best hiking boots

Just here to tell you that the Fitflop Black Friday sale is in FULL swing with up to 60% off (and a further 20% off almost everything with the code BLACK20).  And my absolute favourite leather Skandi hiking boots* of the season have just joined the party dropping from £150 to £105.  The fact that this is the third time you’re seeing them in a month is probably not even fair testament to my love for them…  I wear them ALL THE TIME.  I have pulled every burgundy thing out of my wardrobe, including this cape circa 2012, just to pair with them for absolute maximum wear.  Anyway, they are comfy, they are beautiful and they also come in black*.

In a nutshell, the sale is epic* so head on over for a good browsing session.  But if you happen to be short on time, here are my top picks for you.  First up – the boots.

Could not talk about Fitflop and not include some sneakers.  I wear mine year round, the Rally sneakers* have been a favourite this year with jeans and dresses and the Uberknits* (this pair are down from £80 to £32 with the code) are hands down the best to pull on for quick workouts and dog walks.

Now let’s take a look at the real winter boots – I already have the black Glace boots* and they are the lightest weight winter boots I ever tried, honestly they are like air.  The Skandi snow boots*, to tell the truth, have yet to make it out the house – I am saving them especially for our trip to the Alps in January.

But before the mountains we have a sneaky week in the Canaries for some winter sun which prompted me to check out the sandals and, let me tell you, this is where the absolute best of the bargains are hiding…

And lastly I would like to just casually give the men a mention too…  if you can possibly pry yourself away from the sales for yourself (goodness knows I have done some serious damage this past couple of days and it is ALL FOR ME) then do take a moment to think of the men in your life because there are some treats on sale there too.

Happy Friday to one and all – may your credit cards suffer only a reasonable level of abuse…
