Not only is double denim back in the diary from the coming season but ALSO flares. Day officially made.
If you’re anything like me you may well be able to jump on this trend with pieces you already have in your wardrobe – I’ll be channelling looks comprised of high waist jeans with denim shirt or tops tucked in and secured with a wide belt. But, just in case, I’ve pulled together a few of my favourites starting at H&M for just £20 right up to my big wishlist piece, the See by Chloe shirt – honestly I thought about ordering it but eventually decided I could not justify dropping two months budget on one shirt when I already have a pretty decent denim selection…
However, this belted jacket from Next ticks all the boxes for me for a seasonal update – that gorgeous, flattering 70’s shape, a great price point at just £35 and, whilst it’s technically a jacket, for days like today when we wake up mid March with snow on the ground, it’s perfectly lightweight enough to layer under a coat.
