Say hello to the softest knit in the land – cashmere. Itch factor zero. Guaranteed.
Cashmere is not cheap… this is possibly the most beautifully expensive cuddle you can treat your body to this autumn but, as I mentioned in my guide to investment shopping, I think it is worth it. I have rounded up my favourites from the high street here, which all fall into the more affordable bracket (as far as cashmere is concerned at least), but please do check the care instructions. If you really want your investment to go further then opt for a machine washable knit – no dry cleaning bills in your future and, if you take care of it, luxury knitwear that will last for years.
I have a couple of cashmere pieces in my wardrobe but this Boden cardigan is the newest addition (all their cashmere is machine washable by the way). That rusty navy leopard mix is so perfect for autumn and I sized up to the medium for a wonderfully slouchy fit. What. A. Treat.
