DIY bangs

Less of a tutorial and more of a car crash perhaps…  but I captured the whole process on video (and then edited it down from the hour it took me to the crucial five minutes).

I have to say, although I spent the past two and a half years growing my fringe out, I am delighted to welcome her back.  Honestly, I wear my hair up almost all the time and having that little frame really helps me feel more done.  Conversely, this is undoubtedly the worst time of year to cut bangs in, not least because of lockdown and having to do it yourself, but largely because of the hideous weather – the wind and rain double whammy of a November dog walk often leave me resembling Pat Sharp in the Fun House era…  but nothing a quick blow dry cannot sort.

What do you think?  And are you tempted?
