Fair to say 2023 was something of a whirlwind.

The four month extension project became fourteen (and counting) but we are finally HOME and it feels so good.  Are we finished?  Absolutely not…  but I am excited for the many, many DIY projects to come.

This year is shaping up to be the best one yet and some pretty cool things already happened :

– I grew my instagram family to 30,000 with the help of those viral bunkbeds – my following has grown 30%+ in the past few months which was a great way to kick off the new year.  Whilst features on site have been a bit less frequent as I figure out the balance between work and home projects, I look forward to getting back to it right here, in the format I love most – loads of images and the space for a long format waffle.  I do also keep instagram up to date so please do join me there for more regular updates and video content.

– I filed my tax return and hit a milestone with my income that I’m proud of – it’s not very British to share these things but I work damn hard and love what I do so, yeah, I’m chuffed.

– I signed with an agent – thanks Charlotte for reaching out and for answering my 217 questions – I haven’t had an agent since 2015 but I’m stoked to have The Stand on board – they are as excited about the future as I am and, I’m not gonna lie, it’s really nice to share the load in one area of my work.

I really feel like I’ve found my feet again and have a looooong list of content ideas I am super excited to create – stick around if you like interiors and fashion with a little bit of travel thrown in because I have so much to share with you…

These images, as the colours of the leaves might suggest, were shot some months ago and got lost in the archives but it would be remiss of me not to share this beautiful, new to me, brand – Balzac Paris.  You know I am a huge sucker for French style and this is such a nice addition.  If you, like me, fancy yourself as a bit of a Francophile, I highly recommend a browse.
