Hats off to House of Fraser for the most incredible event venue… Kibble Palace was lit to within an inch of its life and it looked awesome. There were giant goldfish and there was the indoor jungle and there were wonderful new offerings from Maxmara, McQ, Acne and even Linea (for the embroidered breton stripes) and the new season bag collections were looking pretty special. The chance to sashay around this inner city, glass-housed forest meant I felt there was no other choice than a palm print skirt…
I urge you to visit – for an event or for no event at all. And then let’s go shopping for studded white leather clutches and sheer panel-striped skirts and coloured leather biker jackets (all coming soon and not quite landed just yet… but I have seen them in the lookbook and they are divine).
