Hosier Lane, Melbourne

One of our favourite days in Melbourne was in the city with our friends.  We headed to Hosier Lane, full of amazing ever-changing street art – they know me well enough to tell me to bring the camera…  and of course we loved it.  The Lane is right opposite Federation Square where we had a quick drink in the sun surrounded by people on lunch breaks, friends catching up, tourists, everyone out enjoying the sun.

Movida had been recommended as a good lunch option by Sam from Polperro but it was super busy – no worries though, we popped into Movida Next Door (handy huh?) also on Hosier Lane.  The food was delicious, maybe the aubergine chips were my fav, closely followed by the sardines on toast.  A really easy, cool tapas bar with delicious, simple food and exciting specials.  (And our waitress was from Gibson Street!).

I have to give a special mention to these new heels by Sargossa; they say the secret’s in the sole and that is so true.  All their shoes are super padded and the leather is so soft and comfy, even for a day exploring the city.  Paired with my easy choice, the embroidered tunic dress that I could wear every day (if I didn’t have a blog… that’d get kinda boring for you guys!).

But it’s cheerio for now to the city that stole my heart, once again…  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you on Monday with a post from Bali!x

Such a cute dress on you! 🙂 So glad you enjoyed Melbourne – it’s one of my favourite cities to visit. I prefer the weather up in Queensland though, happy to live up here haha!

Beautiful photos chick, takes me back a year to when I was exploring brisbane. How do you find nice shoes in Oz, my experience was they were mostly pretty dull!
