We saved the best for last and visited the Ivy Garden for a family feast. Roast suckling pig was on the menu as promised and after the husband came to terms with the fact that he wouldn’t be having an entire pig, even he agreed that this was by far the favourite meal of the holiday. (We had some pretty excellent barbecues of course but we did have to cook those ourselves).
We were greeted with a complimentary cava from the owner and chef Billy and in spite of the resort being so quiet there was still a great atmosphere in this cosy little bar. It was plenty warm enough to enjoy our food al fresco in the pretty courtyard. Our garlic allergies were well catered for – we even got some garlic free gratinated potatoes which were just too good.
I loved the decor almost as much as the food so I took plenty of photos. You’re shocked, I know.
Might have managed to find a wee space for a Chocolate Suizo afterwards too – I’ll show you the full look tomorrow.
P.S. Next week I’ll get back to reality and stop posting about my holiday quite so much but just for this week, indulge me! It’s so, so cold at home.
