How to make sequins casual? It had to be done. You know I bought this jacket and vowed to wear it regularly so there had to be other options than party looks. I decided to take it in the opposite direction and pair it with my favourite old beat up jeans. These aren’t the kind of rips you can buy, these babies take years of playing games with a dog, crawling about on the floor; they evolve naturally, starting as a few threads and wearing into a small gap until one day you stand up and you hear a noise and you know you’ve got organically ripped jeans. You could probably have guessed it wouldn’t be long till you saw the plaid shirt again either, huh?
This has been one of the craziest busy weeks of my life and today I’m off to Paris where things are going to be exciting but not any quieter. But things are good. Happy Friday everyone!
Don’t forget today’s the last day to vote in the Marie Claire Blog Awards… you know the drill!
