#LFW – Topshop Unique & the red, white and blue

Day 3 may have started sunshine and bare legs but things turned colder as the day went on and my bare leg look had to be adapted.  I kept the whites and subbed in my fav Gap boyfriend jeans and this gorgeous coat from The Outnet – the girls there were kind enough to help me out with a couple of pieces for LFW and this coat was a winner.  Elle est magnifique n’est-ce pas?  (I talk French because I look like the flag, no?  I’m a little tired, forgive me).

Just imagine arriving home from London to a pile of mail… nothing out of the ordinary there.  And then imagine that in amongst the usual bills there’s a small and unusually heavy, black envelope.  Open that one first then?  And inside?  The printed metal invite to the Topshop Unique show which took place 2 days ago.  It was painful.  I would have loved to have seen this show in person and I could have…

Seems like Unique is on my wavelength for SS14 too with effortlessly beautiful shirt dresses, understated prints, a little bit of nightwear as eveningwear (but of a roomier variety than we’re seeing this season), denim blues, so much of that blue and you know I love denim, and wide leg pants.  If I had to pick a favourite I’d be a little unwilling because I just loved almost everything… but if you forced me then I would choose those contrast hem pants down there because they are just perfection.
