Woah, where did the daylight go?! Woke up yesterday to discover we gained an hour which was obviously a bonus. That, and we were on time, if not even early, for our lunch date. Now that might not seem like something out of the ordinary but when your friends have actually deigned your constant tardiness with the label ‘Gilmour time’, well, you get the idea. It was unusual. But good. The downside? 5pm – pitch black.
Waging war on the dark with the light today in layered pale neutrals. Somehow all pale creams, beiges, fawns and pinks seem to blend so well together and I like the contrast of wearing lights in the cold. Just add a little punch to ground it all – boots and lips for me.
One more thing about daylight savings – it’s that time of year for MrK to start wearing a light on his collar and seeing him running around the park looking like a disco ball always makes me smile.
Aaaand… Christmas is coming. Yep, I did it, I totally just said the C word. In October.

God I know that late feeling, my family always used to make up a time for me before an actual meeting time, as they knew I was always late!!
Loving these fresh winter neutrals, especially that pale pink coat, looks good with the bold burgundy boots!
