London was a blur. 4 days of flat out crazy. Crazy good. But one thing that didn’t go by unnoticed was the launch of Boden Icons… Almost all but sold out now, 2 weeks later, this collection really took Boden to a whole other level and I was more than delighted to take the Brigadier skirt out for a spin on what proved to be the warmest day of them all. My inner stripe addict has met her match. This skirt looks good with boots and knits too, she’s a keeper. I’m just a little gutted that the Hyde parka sold out before I saved up to get my mitts on that too…
So, stood outside Harrods, ready to shoot… and someone has parked up their rather photogenic Volga (right Dad?) in just the perfect shade of red to tone with my Brigadier. That’s fate. Much road crossing ensued…

I didn’t spend a whole lot of time running all over London to go to the shows this season, preferring to root myself on Regent Street and indulge in shopping, gastronomy and catching the odd show on screen in store, but I did make it over to the floral filled extravaganza (boy did that room smell incredible) that was Markus Lupfer SS16. I almost always breathe a quiet sigh of relief that lace will be back for summer – I mean, of course right? But imagine everyone just… got over it. End. Of. Days. In any case, no cause for alarm, lace holds fast another year. Thank you very much.
Love your stripe mixing, that is a beautiful skirt and the car is the perfect backdrop, what luck! 🙂

Couldn’t believe it either! Although I think the tourists in Harrods thought i was quite mad…
