LFW Day 5 – colour clash

Of course this coat because she’ll be worn right through till summer and in fact I love her so much that all other pink coats pale in comparison.  So a new way to wear her – in a major colour clash but I kinda love it.  I don’t know if you guys remember these pants from a couple years back?  Well, those long hems, along with basically any other super long wide legged pants I own, got trashed.  It just happens doesn’t it?  They looked so great trailing on the ground but it rains and there are heels and stones and mucky puddles and your once swishing beauties are quickly, well, like I said, trashed.  So I sent these guys to the seamstress for a makover.  They got the chop and now they’re that perfect awkward long crop that I love so much.  If you’ve got any trashed hems I totally recommend sending them off for a do over too.  Or if you want to save yourself some time, J Crew have almost identical ready mades here.

Wow you guys, it’s been a week and a half and I could use it to be a couple days longer really but, nope, it’s time for the weekend and I’ll gladly embrace that.  Have a good one.x
