Seems to be a bit of a trend emerging for cropped everything. Trousers I can handle. Tees I cannot. It’s not that I have some hideous belly to hide but what if you’re almost 30 (geez, 9 weeks to go!) and you want to rock this look but make it, well, at the risk of sounding like I’m 30 already… age appropriate?
Sport a long vest under and you’re safe. I reckon this works best when either your vest is fitted or, if it’s loose like mine, knot in your tee to give you shape in the waist. Done!
So, tell me what you say to the cropped tee trend? Yay or nay?
Picked up this cropped blazer in the Zara sale in London last month and was worried it was too similar to my leather jacket. Then I figured I wear that leather jacket all the time so it wouldn’t hurt to have another to switch it up sometimes!
This weekend we’ll be enjoying a Valentine’s dinner at home, celebrating our wedding anniversary with family, heading to the gym (just in case I decide to brave a cropped tee one day) and brushing out Mr K’s coat.
Don’t forget there are only a couple of day’s left to enter my most awesome giveaway!
You look just as cool as anyone baring their tummy with a cropped top! Love this look!

Thanks – think I found my own way round the trend!
Haha, tell me about it – I was at Topshop last night and everything was cropped. Erm, last time I checked I wasn’t 15? Save the crop tops for 1997 and dressing up as sporty spice… xx

My first thought when I saw these photos was wow, the outfit looks like a million dollars. My jaw dropped when I read your caption – M&S, River Island…!! I must’ve passed both shops a million times but I never ever bothered to check out their clothes. You’ve just reminded me that we don’t have to spend a lot of money to put together an amazing outfit.
Pays to shop around – I genuinely believe in the high street (I have to!) – not all stores are full of gems but there are definitely gems to be found. I’m so glad you like the look and thank you for your lovely comment!x
I love this look – especially the cropped jacket. It looks fab with the flared jeans. And the colour matches. Thankfully the cropped tee hasn’t made it to Oz yet (although they do say we’re 6 months behind) – how can this be a winter look without layering though as you’ve done?! These crazy teens. Is the cropped tee the new cuffing??!
You may be 6 months behind but fashion is 6 months ahead so it’s all summer looks over here right now! Just waiting for the sun… Think I’ll stick with cuffing though, cropped tees only with layering!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this outfit!!!!
Thanks so much.x
I love the flared jeans. love the whole outfit. check out my blog dear and maybe follow me if you like. 🙂

thanks Ashleigh!
Why do they disappoint you? I think they look great! I do have to say, they’re very long, and if I lose even just 2lbs, they fall down a little bit more on one leg than the other, lol… but they still remain one of my favorites. I did get them YEARs ago though, maybe they’re making them a little different now? I think you look great though!
okay… I just RE-READ your comment… yes, good, lol.. glad to know they NEVER disappoint you, lolol
ha ha – NEVER disappointing! Thanks for the comments.x
