Nothing quite like a smattering of sunshine through the endless sleet showers to really fuel the eager anticipation of spring is there? It got me thinking – it is around this time of year, just on the cusp of spring, when I find myself reaching for the sunnier hues in my wardrobe – almost willing the new season into being with a solid shot of colour. And from the veritable smorgasbord (FYI one of my favourite words ever) available right now on the high street I have pulled together my favourites from the rainbow and popped them down there for your perusal.
Meanwhile, I have filled the gaping cobalt hole in my closet with this LK Bennett number, Jacob, (currently on sale by the way) which I profess to be my perfect colour block coat for spring – not just for his shorter length but also, obviously, for his affinity to perfectly matching with the many tan garments cascading from my hangers.
