I asked the husband if he had any words of wisdom for my festive post and he said this… there are only three hundred and sixty seven days until Christmas – I am planning already and it is going to be epic.
Jokes aside, this Christmas may not look the way we imagined but I hope we can all find some small joys and time for relaxation. I keep seeing stories of friends wrapping presents stressing that they have yet to finish… well, friends, I see your unfinished wrapping and raise you a ‘have not yet got wrapping paper‘. I will be skating (my new passion), eating roast potatoes (the Jamie Oliver recipe is the best but hold the garlic for me), wrapping presents apparently, trying to convince the husband to wear his matching red check shirt, watching Christmas movies (The Family Stone is a firm favourite), holding my babies close and phoning everyone else (such a lost art – picking up the telephone).
